Procrastination

Procrastination, I like the word not to sure why though, it's as if in some subliminal way we are one and the same :p. Anyway the reason why the word is here is because I've been procrastinating my Quentin Tarantino movie run, every thing is set (unless u count the lack of lime I have to make juice [I guess it'll be Milo & coffee all the way this time]) but I cant seem to get interested in watching them.

Anyway I did get to watch kick-ass on the big screen, (say what!) it was awesome, totally loved it, right up their with Zombieland. I also watched Iron Man 2 in the same medium, a weak plot was compensated by cool (albeit non existent & unrealistic) technology, a brunette Scarlett Johansson, a transcendentally attractive Gwyneth Paltrow, some cool explosions and a brunette Scarlett Johansson in tight clothes, so it wasn't too bad. Talking about movies I'm looking forward to Salt and Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. I'm also downloading How I Met Your Mother Season 1, hope it's good.

Movie Run – Stochastic Run Leg 2

Movies ::

Refreshment ::
Water
Coffee
hand made lime juice
Instant noodles
the odd fruit

Duration ::

one weekend(ish)

Some of my personal views on the movies :

Chocolat
Nice slower paced movie. This movie is one of the movies you have to watch if u think johnny depp can act only in 'jack sparrow' roles (even though I too believe he was born mainly if not only to act as jack sparrow).

State of Play
A decent political thriller, and also well acted.

Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging
It maybe not politically correct for me to be watching this movies so to speak, how ever the movie is good albeit cliché, think mean girls meet wild child.

Public Enemies
Another biopic by Johnny Depp, and as usual he doesn't fail to impress. Good movie but a bit of shaky camera that tends to get in the way. This story is less the bank robberies more the life (not much of that either) of John Dillinger.

Duration ::

two weekends

Well Since my exams are over (woohoo!!!) I'm planing of having more movie marathons of my own (for my self)...I'm planing on obviously watching more movies in less time (when compared to 6 movies in two weekends)...

Some of my personal views on the movies :

Donnie Brasco

Really good movie (if your in to the organized crime related genre). Awesome performances from two of my favorite actors Johnny Depp and Al Pacino. A must watch.

Planet of the Apes

Nice movie, I have never watched the original franchise so I cant compare it. It's directed by Tim Burton so you should know what to expect. You wouldn't lose anything if you watched it.

in the Loop

Really funny if you appreciate British humor. For fans of British comedy a must watch.

the Boondock Saints I & II

Average movies, nothing impressive in the story line, they decent action movies. If you into action pack movies then deffo worth a look at.

the Men Who Stare at Goats

Not too sure what to make of this movie, average I guess. Read the synopsis if the story interests you check it out, coz there's nothing too bad about the execution of the movie.

Happy Watching!!!

Reawakening

All that is gold does not glitter,
not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither,
deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
a light from the shadows shall spring;
renenwed shall be blade that was broken,
the crownless again shall be king.
~J.R.R. Tolkien~
